Bahrain might be a pint-sized island country, but it punches above its weight in street photography potential. The sleepy island of Muharraq, just off the main island, is a step away from the glitz and skyscrapers of Manama and into the days pearling infrastructure. In the evenings, the UNESCO-listed Pearling Trail lights up and invites visitors to multiple mansions turned museums of this pre-oil source of the local wealth, but there are plenty of narrow streets and alleyways to wander and seek out those interesting photo ops.
