Last year, I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Stockholm. As interesting and beautiful that this city is, its real treasure hides underground. I used to think Moscow Metro was the most beautiful in the world, but now the title goes to Stockholm. The beauty there is very different. Since the metro was bored in granit, most stations have cave-like appearances, except with decorated or painted ceilings and long, museum-like displays. In other words, the art of Stockholm Metro is very modern, very different from the classic post-Soviet underground systems, or really, anywhere else in the world. Enjoy this short photo essay.
