I am Eugene, a Belarus-born American photographer. My favourite genres are street, travel and landscape. On my frequent trips around the world, I seek out to reflect and portray each destination, each country through the eyes of a street wanderer, a quiet observer. I believe the best way to capture the essence of any place is through the faces of its inhabitants. True to that statement, most of my work includes people of various walks of life that I encounter on my journeys.
Having spent most of my life in California, I have grown to love and appreciate the beautiful natural destinations of the American West. Thus, landscape has become another one of my favourite genres, and in that, I let Mother Nature take the lead. I simply take notes.
